Fen Pattern: Christina's Stripey Fen

Christina Patzman has been teaching sewing classes here almost as long as we've been open. We love her style and of course, we were excited to see what she would do with Fen!

Fabric: 3 1/8 yd quilting cotton
Modifications: made the hem straight

I've had this great green striped cotton that I was saving for something special. I LOVE the Fen I made and I wear it constantly--just ask anyone who hangs out with me! I really liked the way the double needle is used in the topstitching. Very clever!

I am planning on making another out of a drapier fabric and adding sleeves for the cooler weather. I like to style this Fen with flip-flops, just as a casual summer dress. I will wear my next Fen (with sleeves) with tights and boots for fall.
