Womxn’s Work Embroidery Flash Sheet

The Womxn’s March is just over a week away here in Denver and we are gearing up to represent and support the strong, talented and wonderful women here in the Fancy Tiger community, in our amazing city, and across the country. We already knit up pink Pussy Hats to show solidarity a few years back and this year we wanted another crafty outlet to show our support!  In the end, our teeny tiny embroideries ended up too cute and we just had to share them with you all.

Materials: Solid Fat Quarter, Assorted Colors of Embroidery Floss, Dandelyne Mini Embroidery Hoop (optional)

Lauren and I teamed up to make the smallest little embroidery flash sheet for the upcoming March. We both love the Dandelyne Mini Embroidery Hoop kits and wanted to make these tiny little treats compatible with all the sizes of mini hoops available. We love that these pint-size patches come together in no time at all and perfectly adorn a pocket or collar. The smallest designs are ideal for the Dandelyne 1” hoop, but can easily be stitched up into a flat patch or stretched over a fabric button. We also included a jumbo back patch design if you are looking to take your jean jacket game to the next level. 

Most of these little cuties are accomplished using a simple straight stitch or backstitch making them perfect for those that are brand new to embroidery. All designs are totally suitable for beginners though and the free downloadable pattern provides recommended stitch patterns for each design. We suggest starting with a double strand of embroidery floss for all designs and sizes, but give it a try and see what works best for you!
