Selvedge Denim Apron Free Pattern

We are pleased to offer a new free pattern for a simple denim apron! We made the Selvedge Denim Apron to showcase the beautiful, American-made selvedge denim from Huston Textiles. This classic, 33" wide fabric has a strongly woven edge, which simplifies the construction. Reinforced selvedges replace hems at the apron's edges and on the pockets. 

We've put together some kits for this that include 30" of Huston Selvedge Denim, 3 yards of US made cotton twill tape and a single and double loop slider. 

Huston Textile Company makes this fabric in Sacramento, California on vintage, American-made equipment using organic, US grown materials. Selvedge fabric is highly coveted for its finished edged reinforced nature and its contribution to high quality garments that are made to last.
