Row X Row 2017

This is our very first year participating in the informal quilt shop hop, Row x Row, and we are so excited to be a part of it! We can’t wait to see a lot of our awesome quilting friends and hope to see a few new faces coming through the door too!

If you are new to Row by Row, like we are, it is a summer long shop hop that runs through September 8th, with thousands of stores that participate throughout the US, Canada, and Europe. Each shop designs their own quilt block and the pattern is free to all participants for the duration of Row x Row. This year’s theme is On The Go and the oh-so-talented Keely Shaw designed a foundation paper pieced Wild Goose Chase just for us. If you are new to foundation paper piecing, don’t panic! We have put together a tutorial video with Keely to help you though the process!

In addition to our free pattern, we also have kits for our row available in-store. We are offering two colorways—Night, and Day, that incorporate Cotton + Steel basics, Lizzy House Asterisk, and some subtle metallic wovens. The kits have all the fabric you need to complete the row, along with the foundation paper pattern for piecing it together.

Many participating shops offer personalized fabric license plate for purchase. We came up with our unique Fancy Tiger license plate, Be. Do. Make! What a cool way to keep track of all the shops you visit in your community and across the country!
