New Creativebug Class: Pendleton Clutch

Our newest Creativebug class is live as part of their Bag of the Month: welcome Pendleton Clutch!

Wondering what to do with a precious length of Pendleton fabric? This striking woolen clutch is the perfect answer and the perfect accessory for fall. Sturdy canvas gives support and a solid lining fabric contrasts prettily with the bold jacquard fabric. Choose between two options for a closure: a simple toggle or a two-button leather wrap.

I designed this little clutch to be a simple sew that can allow a new sewist to work with the lovely and coveted Pendleton Jacquard fabric. In this class I cover how to cut out pattern pieces, how to use duck canvas as a lining, how to construct the lined clutch and how to make a leather strap or toggle closure. If you don't want to splurge on an entire 60" wide piece of Pendleton, we have these handy kits  made up for you.

Enjoy!
