Jaime's Two Adventure Tanks

Tank Time! I'm super excited by the new Adventure Tank pattern! I've made two so far - one of each style and I love them both.

Jaime's Muscle Tank

I was really trying to embrace summer with this one and pick a color that is outside my comfort zone and bright - orange! It's pretty amazing.

This pattern is simple to sew up and I made my first one out of my favorite knit that we stock - Hemp/organic cotton jersey from Pickering. This fabric is a dream to work with and wear with a slightly rustic weave. Amber made a Muscle tank in this fabric as well and we both agree - its perfect for this tank!

Jaime's Racerback

Materials: 1 yd Alabama Chanin Organic Jersey in Light Blush
Size Made: Small

Another tank, another dream-boat fabric. This time I used the Alabama Chanin Organic Jersey in the most perfect pale pink. This medium weight knit is 100% organic, US grown, milled and dyed fabric so you can feel good about every step of a garment handmade from this fabric.

The best part of the Adventure Tank pattern is that both versions are constructed the same way. Once you've made one, its easy to make another! I've styled my Adventure tank here with my Camp Shorts from local company, Topo Designs so this really is my perfect adventuring outfit - easy to wear and move around during the summer on hikes.
